Originally an 18th century farmhouse this charming country house hotel is south facing and set in 8 acres of land with panoramic views of the countryside to the ocean. With only 18 bedrooms Monte do Casal is an exclusive retreat providing perfect relaxation in a tranquil setting and yet is only a 15 minute drive away from unspoilt beaches and the Moorish city of Faro. Rooms in the hotel grounds are accessed via the gardens. There is also a villa which has 6 luxury bedrooms including a waterfall suite, located two minutes walk through the gardens from the main building. The main building is recommended for those with walking difficulties. Not suitable for children under 16. Car hire recommended. This hotel is participating in Classic's loyalty scheme.
